Service Description
Romiromi Treatment on Massage Table This traditional modality allows a range of romiromi techniques to be used while the client is comfortably supported on the massage table. Pressure and intensity is mostly deep pressure. Oil is not used. Clients remain clothed in comfortable loose clothing. When booking, duration options are: * 60-minutes (general maintenance) * 90-minutes (recommended for new users) * 120-minutes (for people wanting a longer session) The time allocated is inclusive of the bodywork and pre and post discussion. Romiromi works on areas of tension, restriction, and imbalance held by the client. Specifically the muscles, bones and joints. Techniques incorporate pressure work on the haemata (pressure points) and muscles, some stretching of legs, arms, shoulders, and back. It supports the movement of blood flow carrying oxygen and mauri (life force) around the tinana (body). Recommended for people who are needing firm bodywork and general release from the tinana, wairua and hinengaro and ngakau (mind, body, spirit, emotions). Please read before booking. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Preparation begins before you arrive, so we ask that you book mindfully. 1) Cancellations We do not offer refunds for cancellations, change of mind, sudden circumstances, or illness. However, we do offer flexible options where possible. a) If you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment, you may choose to: Reschedule within 3 months, gift your appointment to someone else, transfer the value to a Gift Card (valid for 3 months) or donate your booking to someone in need. b) If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, you may: Send someone else in your place (no loss of payment). If not, 50% of the booking fee is forfeited. The remaining 50% may be used to reschedule, gift, transfer to a Gift Card (valid for 3 months), or donate. 2) Rescheduling You can reschedule through the ‘view appointment details’ link in your confirmation email. Rescheduling is subject to availability. 3) Running Late Please text or call if you are running late. Session length may be reduced depending on schedule. No refunds for missed time. 4) No Shows If you do not attend and do not notify us, no refund or alternatives are offered. 5) Sick or Unwell Please do not attend in person if you are sick. You may reschedule, gift, transfer to a Gift Card (valid 3 months), or donate your session. 6) Recording Respect No audio, video, or photographs are permitted in sessions without clear permission from both client and practitioner. 7) If We Need to Cancel If we are unable to provide your service, we will contact you to make new arrangements, including offering a full refund if needed.
